Ana Soklič Official

From a very young age, Slovenian native born, Ana Soklič nurtured a singular creative spirit, springing from her restless inner directive.

Soklič first built her musical knowledge at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana (SI) with a professor of opera singing, Alenka Dernač Bunta. She then continued with the renowned Slovenian musician of jazz and classical singing, Darja Švajger, and later with the pedagogue, Nataša Nahtigal. In 2018 she mastered her knowledge with prof. Dileesa Archer (soul, gospel, rnb) Georgia, Atlanta (USA).

​Intrigued by the dynamics of soul, neo soul music, pop-rock, and jazz as much as with the richness and human quality of live instrumentation and songcraft, Anna has worked tirelessly to evolve and forge a unique, compelling and deeply soulful marriage of the organic “past” and misty “future”.
